A large team of DELTA legal lawyers advised INVESTIKA, an open mutual fund, in its purchase of BOHEMIA REAL ESTATE s.r.o. (BRE), a real estate holding company, owning administrative buildings across the Czech Republic, for example in Liberec, Benešov, Boskovice, Sokolov, Frýdek-Místek and Chrudim. BRE had been renting unique premises in city centres with a usable area of more than 12,000 square metres to very lucrative tenants. The main tenant of the real estate portfolio is the bank Československá obchodní banka, a.s. (ČSOB).
DELTA legal provided the client comprehensive legal advice, from due diligence to drafting documentation for the transfer of 100% of the ownership shares and subsequent settlement. The transaction has contributed to the diversification of the INVESTIKA fund portfolio, which currently holds buildings in ten cities in the Czech Republic.
This is yet another successful M&A cooperation between DELTA legal and the INVESTIKA fund. In the past, the firm assisted INVESTIKA with its acquisition of the Pekařská Office Park, a complex of office buildings in Prague.
