As every year, DELTA legal could not miss the annual meeting of the prestigious international law network Interlaw, of which it has been a proud member for many years. Following last year’s successful conference hosted by us in Prague, it was time to pass the baton. This year, our partner Jiří Absolon attended the event in sunny Dubai.
In mid-January, Jiří joined more than 100 representatives of member firms from Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East for three days of strengthening relationships with foreign partners, discussing current legal developments, and experiencing the unique local culture.
The meeting, themed “Cultural Dynamics in Global Business”, offered a diverse program of lectures and workshops covering areas such as real estate law, HR, intellectual property protection, health law and environmental law. In addition to expert discussions on current trends in legal services, the program included informal events, such as an excursion to Abu Dhabi and several dinners with views of the iconic Dubai skyline. These opportunities allowed lawyers from around the world to connect with international colleagues, share experiences and make valuable contacts.
