Congratulations to our colleague Martin Jonek for an amazing achievement: taking second place in the President’s Cup tennis tournament in doubles. The 16th edition of the tournament was held in Ostrava from 31 March to 1 April 2023. Despite the tough competition, Martin and his partner Jiří Nosek from the Gřivna & Šmerda law firm, battled all the way to the final of the best group, but unfortunately the odds weren’t in their favour. We are sure they will do even better next year!
There were many familiar faces at the tournament, and several attorneys travelled from Slovakia. We are happy to meet in such a friendly atmosphere and we thank the Czech Bar Association for its long-lasting and flawless organization.
