As a long-standing member of Interlaw, a global network of attorneys in more than 150 cities around the world, our firm could not miss its global annual meeting, which took place at the end of October in Costa Rica. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen our relationships with major foreign law firms and thus strengthen the quality of our cross-border services. DELTA legal was represented by partner Michal Zahradník.
The program of the annual meeting consisted not only of lectures and debates in areas such as transaction advisory, banking, restructuring, labour law and intellectual property, as well as discussions on new trends in providing comprehensive care to clients, but also of informal events in which lawyers from all over the world could exchange contacts and experiences. In addition, this year, as part of Interlaw’s ESG activities, a successful and helpful event took place, during which lawyers took matters into their own hands and helped with the renovation of the local daycare. These activities are covered by the Interlaw Cares initiative, which aims to use the power and contacts of the Interlaw network to help humanitarian organizations and other charitable initiatives, and whose proud active driving force is our partner Pavel Fára.
We appreciate that we once again had the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious event with attorneys who are leaders in their fields, and we thank Interlaw for its flawless organization. We are looking forward to the next meeting – for example, in the summer of next year, when the meeting of the European part of Interlaw will take place in Prague.
