After two years of study at the Faculty of Law of Charles University, Veronika received the internationally recognized title of LL.M. in health law, an area that she has long focused on in our firm. Together with Michal Zahradník she leads the health law department at DELTA legal, offering legal consultation to healthcare providers on cross-border healthcare and the rights and obligations of patients. With the entry into force of the European regulation on medical devices and the amendment to the Act on the regulation of advertising, she is increasingly dealing with the rules governing the advertising of medical devices. As Veronika is also active in M&A, real estate law and trademark law, she can offer her clients from the healthcare field a truly comprehensive legal service, from the start of a business and its development, to dispute resolutions and possible exit under the best terms.
Denisa successfully graduated from the Palacký University Faculty of Law in Olomouc and is being promoted from the position of paralegal to Junior Associate. While Denisa is an important asset especially to the corporate law team, she often deals with the regulations governing medical devices, including their advertisement.
“Health law is a growing field and the demand for legal services is steadily rising,” said DELTA legal partner Michal Zahradník. “Apart from regulatory requirements on healthcare providers and distributors of medical devices, the field also includes support for the rights of patients in medical malpractice cases. Fortunately, thanks to Veronika and Denisa we are able to help more clients in this area. Congratulations to both of them and we are proud that they are part of our team!“
