DELTA legal hosted a meeting of lawyers from Interlaw, an elite international network of independent law firms. As its longtime member, we are honored to have been able to organize such an important event!
Almost 100 participants came to our capital from all over the world – in addition to the EMEA region, i.e. European countries, countries from the Middle East (such as Turkey, Israel and Iraq) and Africa (e.g. Egypt, Libya and Morocco), there were also participants from North and South America (e.g. USA, Canada, Brazil) as well as from Asia (e.g. India, China, Taiwan) or Australia. Such a rich participation provided us with an ideal opportunity for personal discussion about ongoing cross-border projects and for arranging new international opportunities.
In addition to stimulating debates, the participants broadened their horizons with various lectures, e.g. from the former Governor of the Czech National Bank on economic development in our region, or from the greatest Czech experts on AI, whose tips we and all listeners from the Interlaw network are already starting to use to streamline work for our clients. After a demanding work program, however, there was also an opportunity to relax and get to know Prague’s historical and gastronomic attractions. Participants tasted Czech culinary art in the iconic restaurants Obecní dům and Bricks, saw the sights on foot during a city scavenger hunt, and also from the comfort of a period tram.
The huge success and excellent organization of the conference is also confirmed by the enthusiastic reactions of the participants that we have received since the end of the event:
“You guys did such a great job and should be super proud. I hope you will be able to cope with the level of referrals that now flow in!” – Richie Leahy, a solicitor at Dublin-based AMOSS LLP
„Good morning from a very hot Cyprus! Our warmest regards to everyone and a big big thank you to DELTA legal for a superb meeting! Truly well organised, superfun and very informative. Looking forward to seeing you all in Taipei or even earlier than that! ❤“ – Maria Clappa, partner at Tassos Papadopoulos & Associates LLC, Cyprus
Many thanks to all our friends from DELTA legal. Your meeting was wonderful in all disciplines! Thanks a lot! – Michel Ponsard, partner at UGGC Avocats, France
Excitement over the successful event prevails in our office as well:
Libor Vacek, a DELTA legal partner, comments, “We are pleased that the participants enjoyed their often more than three-day stay in Prague, and that we were able to strengthen old friendships and establish new business partnerships. I believe that meetings between lawyers from different cultures and geographical locations are enriching for all participants. The concluded meeting clearly demonstrated that firms within Interlaw share crucial values and moral stances on current world issues, even in these challenging times, as well as a common interest in providing the best legal services for their clients.”
As can be seen, the entire event was marked by an exceptionally relaxed atmosphere and effective collaboration, which is the essence of the Interlaw network – an elite global network of leading independent law firms that includes more than 8,000 lawyers in more than 150 cities around the world. For many decades, Interlaw has been working with its strategic partners to offer businesses around the world the highest quality cross-border legal advice through a single point of contact. It is regularly ranked at the top of the global ranking of law firm networks in the prestigious Chambers & Partners ranking. DELTA legal has been a member since 2017.
We believe that regular knowledge sharing with industry peers is essential for innovation and advancement within our profession. In addition, we can one hundred percent vouch for all our colleagues from the Interlaw network in terms of their professional and human approach. Thanks to this, we can provide you with legal services all over the world.
“Therefore, on behalf of DELTA legal, we would like to thank all participants and Interlaw for making time for this event. We are immensely proud that together with you, we could contribute to closer international legal cooperation, and we look forward to the next meeting, which will take place in Taiwan,” Pavel Fára, a partner of DELTA legal concludes.
