DELTA legal, advokátní kancelář s.r.o. will name Jiří Absolon (36) as a new partner on 1 November 2018. Jiří will continue to focus mainly on company law, M&A and corporate governance. In addition, he will lead DELTA legal’s Corporate & Commercial team together with Michal Zahradník. He will also head a team dedicated to the implementation of automated legal documents, an initiative which DELTA legal has been working on intensively.
The change will allow Michal Zahradník to focus on developing the firm’s compliance practice, besides his commercial law, litigation and insolvency practice.

Jiří started his professional career at Balcar Polansky Eversheds, before joining DELTA legal at the firm’s inception. He provides legal advice to major Czech and global companies, particularly in the engineering, automotive, healthcare, pharmaceutical and real estate sectors, as well as major private investors, especially in connection with acquisitions and sales.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law of Charles University, Jiří also spent one year at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands during his doctoral studies, and is fluent in English. He devotes most of his free time to his family and sports.
