Who is the conference for?
Primarily owners and top management, individuals and legal entities that have a substantial part of their assets allocated in industrial and other commercial real estate and would like to release these funds for further business development. But also anyone else who wants to learn about sale-and-leaseback through practical examples.
What is sale-and-leaseback?
The seller simultaneously (i) sells an interest in a real estate company or property and thereby obtains free funds and (ii) enters into a long-term lease agreement, which allows them to continue the business in the existing premises and set up stable cash flows. This form of transaction is particularly used in periods of economic downturn or market uncertainty when banks restrict lending and is extremely relevant at the present time.

The benefits of this form of financing as well as the factors you should consider before deciding to go ahead with a sale-and-leaseback, and what to look out for when structuring and negotiating a deal. The discussion will be based on the real experiences of the participants. You will be able to evaluate whether sale-and-leaseback fits into your business development strategy.
