On 26 May 2021, an amendment to the Advertising Regulation Act came into force, significantly tightening the rules for advertising medical devices.

However, medical device advertising created or disseminated under contracts entered into before 26 May 2021 was granted a six-month exemption from the new rules, ending on 26 November 2021. After that date, the benevolence will irrevocably end and all advertising of medical devices without exception will have to comply with the requirements under the current regulation.
Be advised that if you place, process or distribute medical advertising, you are responsible for its compliance with the law.
